In 1945, when my parents, George and Dorothy, created
Welbourne Electrical Services, they saw the need for a
service-oriented company that could promise high-quality
electrical services at a fair and competitive price. Right
from the start our customers could see and sense the Welbourne
difference. That's because Mom and Dad always went out of
their way to make sure that every job was completed to
perfection. Their electrical expertise, coupled with their
commitment to our customers, made the company grow and
prosper.I grew up in the family's business. In fact, my
folks tell me that I learned how to walk and talk on the job!
All through my school years I spent summer vacations working
with our crews and stocking Welbourne trucks. As soon as I
graduated I joined the business full-time. In 1983, I took
over as President of Welbourne Electrical Services, and I'm
proud to say we've been growing steadily ever since. It always
amazes me that many of the customers I do business with today,
are the same people my Dad introduced me too when I was just
the young boy.
Even though times have changed so much since our company
was founded in 1945, one thing has remained the same -- our
original commitment to provide our customers with the quality,
service and value they deserve. It's what we believe in and
what the Welbourne Electrical Services name will always stand
for.
